Industrial equipment expansion monitoring and protection device for precise thermal expansion measurement and safeguarding of turbine systems.

System Overview

The QBJ-3XRN thermal expansion monitoring and protection instrument, equipped with TD-2 sensor technology, provides comprehensive measurement and protection against thermal expansion on both sides of turbine casings. Utilizing an AC linear variable differential transformer, this system accurately measures turbine casing expansion relative to the foundation along the axial direction. Transformers installed on both sides of the turbine centerline continuously monitor and display casing expansion changes throughout operational cycles from start-up to shutdown.
