Honeywell’s CC-TAON11 modules and gateways act as the physical link between an automation system and the process when integrated with the C300 Controller. These devices combine input/output modules and field terminations in a single location. By plugging the input/output modules into input/output termination assemblies, there is no need for a separate chassis to house the electronic components.


C300 Controller
The C300 Controller features a Series C form factor, consisting of an Input Output Termination Assembly (IOTA) and an electronics module that attaches to and connects with the IOTA. A single C300 Controller integrates all control functionalities and communication capabilities, with support for plug-in modules.

The C300 Controller can operate in both non-redundant and redundant setups. Redundant operation generally requires a second identical controller and connecting cables. It links to associated I/O hardware via a pair of I/O Link Interface cables.
